Product description

MCB trailer flats are made of high strength steel and are ideally suited for use in situations where weight saving is important, like trailer construction. These strips are mainly used in the construction of the trailer chassis. By using modern micro-alloy steel grades, an optimal combination of strength, weldability and ductility is offered. The trailer chassis itself is 95% made of steel. Trailer flats are strips with a width of 150 mm, thickness 8 to 20 mm, lengths 9.5 or 13.6 meters. MCB offers the following sizes: 150x10, 150x12 and 150x15 at a length of 13.600 mm in its standard range. Other widths and thicknesses are also used, but to a lesser extent and can be supplied on request. A specific characteristic of this product is its straightness. MCB supplies trailer flats with a straightness of max. 1.5 mm per metre (EN standard 2.5 mm/mtr). In order to achieve this straightness, the trailer flats are manually redirected after rolling.
