Titaan Grade 5 is een met aluminium-vanadium gelegeerde titaankwaliteit (Ti6Al4V). Het is de meest gebruikte titaan legering. Dit komt door zijn hoge sterkte, lage gewicht en zijn corrosiebestendigheid. Titaan Grade 5 kan door middel van de juiste warmtebehandeling een nog grotere sterkte krijgen. Titaan Grade 5 wordt veelal toegepast in de luchtvaartindustrie, automobielindustrie, chemische industrie en bevestigingsmaterialen, alsmede ook in de medische industrie in de vorm van implantaten.
