Alloy C276 is een nikkel-molybdeen-chroom legering. Deze kwaliteit staat bekend om zijn weerstand tegen corrosie in omgevingen met agressieve media. Het hoge gehalte aan molybdeen biedt weerstand tegen plaatselijke corrosie, zoals pitcorrosie. Het lage koolstofgehalte minimaliseert de vorming van koolstofcarbiden tijdens het lassen en voorkomt interkristallijne corrosie op de warmte-beïnvloede zones. Het wordt veel toegepast in chemische procesindustrie, pulp en papier verwerkende industrie en de industrieel en huishoudelijk afvalwater verwerking.
Goed te lassen.
