High-Performance Stainless Steel

This group of stainless steel species is also called high performance stainless steel and has generally superior corrosion resistance. These materials are applicable in a large number of aggressive environments. Their excellent resistance to pitting and tress corrosion makes these metals particularly useful in chloride-containing environments. These properties are achieved by a high content of chromium, nickel, molybdenum and nitrogen combined with low carbon content for better weldability.
