Challenges faced by the industry

The chemical industry is one of the largest globally and works on solutions to major societal problems. Growing competition on the one hand and scarcer and more expensive raw materials on the other call for innovative solutions. In the coming decades, the chemical sector intends to take a leading role in the transition to green chemistry and will focus on the following areas: health, food, energy, transport and climate & raw materials. Only close collaboration with other top sectors will lead to a circular economy and meet the needs of increasingly environmentally conscious consumers.

MCB Specials

MCB Specials started as a supplier of non-ferrous materials in 1936. We are part of the MCB Group and have expanded our range of products and services over the years to become a total supplier. At MCB Specials, we offer the market a wide range of very strong, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant and easily workable materials for today's continuously innovating chemical industry.

Complete supply chain

We focus on consistent quality assurance and supply chain optimisation. Because we can deliver materials sawn or cut according to a drawing, we eliminate unnecessary steps in the process. Thanks to our extensive experience in this area, we can offer customers highly flexible supply arrangements.

Extremely cost-efficient

Through worldwide collaboration with partners and factories, we always find a solution at MCB Specials, even when confronted by challenging grades and shapes. An EDI link is a further possibility, leading to major savings in the entire value chain.

Materials

Our materials are certified according to API, ASTM, ASME, EN, ISO, TÜV, NACE and NORSOK. We offer alloys capable of withstanding challenging and aggressive conditions that require good resistance to general pitting and stress corrosion, oxidation resistance at high and low temperatures, resistance to seawater, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide corrosion, without losing their strength.
