Product description

Alloy 825 is een nikkel-ijzer-chroom legering met toevoegingen van molybdeen, koper en titaan. De chemische samenstelling is zo ontworpen dat het materiaal een ​​uitzonderlijke weerstand biedt tegen verschillende corrosieve omgevingen. Nikkel, in samenhang met molybdeen en koper, biedt een uitstekende weerstand tegen zwavelzuur en fosforzuren. Het molybdeen helpt ook in de weerstand tegen pit- en spleetcorrosie. Het chroomgehalte zorgt voor resistentie van verschillende oxiderende stoffen zoals salpeterzuur, nitraten en oxiderende zouten. Het titaan biedt na een juist toegepaste warmtebehandeling weerstand tegen interkristallijne corrosie. Het wordt vooral toegepast in de chemische verwerking, bestrijding van verontreiniging, olie- en gaswinning, zuurproductie en in de verwerking van radioactief afval.
