For Theuws Metaal in Luyksgestel, recycling pallets has become a well-established routine. Teun Martens, head of the operations department, is responsible for procurement and is closely involved in implementing the Wood4Wood concept at Theuws Metaal.
Within the facilities of MCB at the Valkenswaard site, the wood recycling department plays an important role. Spread across two locations – the Vest and the Kennedylaan – collected pallets are stored, sorted, and repaired for reuse, while at the Kennedylaan, e.g. wood blocks are manufactured for transport purposes.
